A few of my favorite things from the episode, off of the top of my head:

1. Kurt and Blaine. (of course!) Seriously, how amazing and adorable and lovely are they together? And the teasing each other, oh my god. MY HEART.

2. Hummelberry. I love the way their friendship has grown, and it seems to have only grown even greater over the summer. The scene with the two of them in the car, just awwww. <333

3.The music. I really, really enjoyed the music this episode. A lot of it had a more "old school" sort of feel (in that sort of classy-jazzy-etc-style way), and while I love some of their covers of recent music, these were all so much fun and had me watching them all dance around with a huge grin on my face. Plus, I've kind of become obsessed in the past day or two with the Anything Goes/Anything You Can Do mash-up they did in this ep, and I've been singing it around the house. Lindsay Pearce (the girl who sang that mash-up) has some pipes!

I'll post a more comprehensive post later with thoughts on both Glee & Castle probably, maybe a few other shows if I have enough thoughts about them to actually post about, but for now I just had to get out my giddiness. What was your opinion on tonight's episode?

Between the Hummelberry and the Klaine, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I'm pretty sure we've never seen Kurt this happy and this determined to be who he is and help others to shine too (like Rachel).

And I loved the music! I love retro EVERYTHING - and that includes music. Stuff from the 40s-60s makes me want to dance like nothing else. I was making up choreography for basically the whole episode. lol

OMG yes, the first Klaine scene in the coffee shop - my smile could not get much bigger, omg. Kurt is one of the characters who has seemed to grow the most over the show so far, and I'm super excited about that & to see everyone else growing too. I love that he is so determined to help Rachel make it, and her reassurance/statement that Kurt was going to make it too was so lovely and heartwarming to watch. They seemed close-ish at the end of last season, but this season they truly seem like best friends and I love it! <3

Ahh, retro - see that's the word I was looking for! I kept going, 'just calling it "old" music is not really what I'm trying to say', but I couldn't think of the right word LOL. But yes! So much awesome. I was a little disappointed w/the choreography in the 'Anything Goes' scene, but maybe that's just cause I was looking for all the awesome, probably more complicated tap stuff they did in the musical with Sutton Foster that I was watching on YT the other day lol
